Since its inception, Outside Lands has been a disruptor in the live music landscape, and has evolved over the past decade into one of the most influential and successful festivals in the country. Nestled in the woods of Golden Gate Park, Outside Lands is known for its musical eclecticism, forward-thinking culinary programming, environmental stewardship, and a focus on promoting the work of local Bay Area chefs, wineries, and breweries. I developed and oversaw the design of all branding, marketing, and on-site signage & collateral for Outside Lands 2017 and 2018.

Branding

Each year, Superfly reaches out to a globally renowned illustrator to create that year’s festival poster. From there, it’s my job to translate that into a visual ID system that can be applied to every piece of marketing, communication and signage for the festival. In 2017, I had the great pleasure of working with the incredible talented Rich Kelly to create a special 10th Anniversary ID system.
